Supreme Court Fights President After He Appointed His Daughter to Head State-owned Oil Company
It is showdown in Angola as the Supreme Court has entered into a fierce fight with the president after he unwittingly appointed his daughter as the head of the state-owned oil company.

The Angolan Supreme court has demanded that President Jose Eduardo dos Santos explain
why he made his daughter the boss of state oil company Sonangol, reports the news site Rede Angola.
the appointment of Isabel dos Santos was lawful was submitted to the court by a group of Angolan lawyers days after the announcement.
The court has now accepted the petition and given the president and his daughter eight days to respond, Rede Angola says.
