A teenage daredevil risked his life to climb one of the world’s tallest skyscR@pers. Justin Casquejo, 19, who climbed an under-construction high-rise building in Central Park, New York City, could face jail if he doesn’t quit his reckless hobby .
The teenager posted the footage online where he has become a social media sensation.
The teenager, from New Jersey, now faces charges of reckless endangerment and criminal tresspassing, CBS New York reports. A photo on his Instagram page sees him dangling from the structure above Central Park.
In 2014 Casquejo was given a slap on the wrist after he climbed One World Trade Center. He was sentenced to 23 days of community service but now he could receive a tougher sentence.
His lawyer Jeremy Saland said there is more to him than “what you see on Instagram”. He added: “By no means was he, and is he, a malicious, thrill-seeking young man who wants to jeopardize anyone’s safety or health.”
